The difference between PPE and PE zipper bags
PE material:
Polyethylene (POLYETHYLENE, PE) is a polymer formed by the polymerization of ethylene. According to the polymerization method, molecular weight and chain structure, polyethylene can be divided into high-density polyethylene and low-density polyethylene.
Low density polyethylene (LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE, LDPE), commonly known as high-pressure polyethylene, has a low density and a soft material, and is mainly used in plastic bags and agricultural films. This is what we often call PE material.
LDPE material has been produced since 1939, with a long history and mature technology. The material itself has transparency, the price is relatively the cheapest material for making plastic bags, and the effect is also good. It is often used in electronic clothing and making handbags, etc.
PPE material:
Polyethylene, also known as Bing rubber, is a kind of copolymer rubber of ethylene and propylene that came out after the emergence of polyethylene and polypropylene. The former is a copolymer of ethylene and propylene, and the latter is a copolymer of ethylene, propylene and a small amount of non-conjugated diene. PPE film has higher density and higher transparency than PE, but its cost is also higher than PE. The material is the softest, mainly used for plastic bags, electronic films, etc.
The PPE material combines the advantages of polyethylene and polypropylene, and has the characteristics of high transparency and soft material.
It is a new emerging material. The price is higher than PE and PP. It is generally used to produce packaging bags in various garment industries, handicrafts, textiles, and printed matter industries.
